In the past month I've lost all my color in my spa corals. I first thought it was me changing salt but after changing back nothing change.

Nitrates 10 or lower
Phosphate .03
Ph 8.00
Cal 450
Alk 7.5-8
Salt level 1.025
Lights 40 3 Wat less and two t5 lights

I'm thinking about changing the t5s I kinda want the kz or ATI blue plus but I'm not sure wat looks better

Ok well in that case you need to provide some more info.

Fist off, how large is your system? sump, display.

What do you have for skimmers?
What all do you have stocked and what size?
How much do you feed?

What is the size of your display and sump?
How much food is heavy?
What drove you to add a second skimmer?
When was the last time you changed your bulbs?

im running leds, but i run two t5 for color and i try to change them every 4 months and im about to change them in the next few weeks..even tho its a lil sooner then i need to. i feed 1 cube on pe in the morning with flakes and pellets and then at night i feed flakes and then oyster eggs for the corals. i rly just added a second skimmer to add it, all my friends kept bashing my aqua c saying the sro will put it to shame so i went out and got a new sro skimmer and then found out how much i hated it and just deiced to run both so now i wet skim with one and dry with the other.

I just bought a new coral it was yellow now is brown. I know my system is better then the lfs but its shipping stress or change in salt. either way it sucks 10 nitrates is kinda high in my opinion shoud be under two

I would double check all parameters. How are maintaining alk, what test kit are you using? How are you test salinity?Have you changed lighting in any way since you had good color before?

Seem like the only things that changed is you added a lot better skimmed and some t5s.Could be less nutrients along with more light, which could cause color loss. How much vodka are you dosing?maybe cut back slowly.

i cut back to 5ml...but im getting more brown and green on my glass.

Green on glass is high phosphates.I found vodka helps with nitrate more than phosphates. Could try some gfo, reduce vodka and keep eye on nitrates.

ya i started changin my gfo once a week to try to get control of it again
