So I have a lot of bristle worms. I mean a lot! How can I get rid of them. How fast would an arrow crab get rid of them? How fast would a wrasse? What trap do you think works the best?

How big are they? From what I understand arrow crabs won't eat the big ones until they themselves are a pretty good size.

They are smaller but I have thicker ones. Would boiling a pot of water and putting the rock in it for 10 min, and then leaving them outside overnight get rid of them?

Probably but then you are going to kill all of the bacteria most likely as well. They really aren't harmful to have in your tank so I wouldn't be too worried about getting rid of them so drastically.

Don't boil rock, it's dangerous.
Many places sell bristleworm traps. That combined with not overfeeding will get them down to normal numbers.

The guy at my LFS told me if I ever wanted to cut down my population to use a meshy media bag, put some pellets in it, zip-tie it shut and throw it in the tank. The worms get caught in the mesh and you pull it out in the morning.

As others have said though, bristle worms are good guys. :)

A piece of pantyhose works too, just don't cut up your wife's last pair LOL.
