Top off water dosing

I have an ATO system and I was wondering does any one dose with the ATO? In other words for example, adding ALK and Calcium buffer to the top water reservoir

Yeah, a lot of people do. I use the ATO to dose kalkwasser via a kalk reactor. Unfortunately, despite an evap rate of 2-3 gallons a day at a fullly kalk saturated dose, I still have to use 2 part (actually 3 part) to keep up with the alk/cal/mag consumption.

BTW, you cannot Alk and calcium together in one container like the ATO. They have to be dosed separately. The only way to do it together is with kalk.

I add Baking Soda to my ATO to keep my alk stable. It works perfect but I dose for calc and mag seperately

Just curious? What's the formula for adding this for ALK. Ex: how much per gallon.
