Okay so the bermuda skimmer i have is external and is 25.5 inch diameter, 31 inches tall...
it is on a stand and the pump was a danner mag 36 a.. it was 3600 gph... Do I really need that much gph? the pump pushes the water up a 47 inch tube from the sump it sits in... I tried taking the pump apart and cant find the problem..
Another problem is that this pump is not made anymore and I cant find the gph rate on the skimmer either,,
any different submergible pump recommendations?
Thanks for any help

so it was the impeller.. took a bit to adjust the skimmer,, water all over the place! i think this pump may be too much.. might replace w a lower gph next time

Sorry not a expert but have you looked into the Reef flo Blowhole pumps they have 3 speeds they are a pressure pump.

I know he said the skimmer was external so if it is run out of sump the blowhole might be a good option for when he needs to replace the pump.
