I am making a 40 breeder sump and plan on using the over under over configuration for my glass baffles to serve as my bubble trap before the water gets to the fuge section of my sump. I got the first baffle installed (the one separating the skimmer from the fuge). My second baffle will be 1.5 inches away from the first and about 1 - 1.5 inches off the bottom of the sump. Do both sides of this panel (and the last one, for that matter) need to be siliconed in the whole way? Its not a problem for the one side, but between the two baffles is a very tight squeeze and my hands are not very dainty, or coordinated for that matter :wavehand:

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

On mine I put silicone on a little heavy on the edges and used a dowel rod cut on a 45 to kind of smooth the bead out on the hard to get to sides. obviously the open sides I did with the gun. been running fine for a couple of years. Hope this helps.
