Anyone else observed this? My P. Fridmani is obsessed with digging holes in the substrate. Is this a nesting type behaviour? Just curious...

I've had three total in differing tanks and none of them did. Is it a single Fridmani or a pair? Mine were all single.

I wouldn't mind so much, but he keeps spitting sand all over the corals.

I had an ocellaris clown do this. In that case, she was actually trying to get rid of the coral though.
I owned P. fridmani's brother species, P. sankeyi. Never saw this in a dottyback.
