We have received our first MaxSpect Razor demo unit a few days ago and have been putting it through it's tests. The model in the below photos is the R420R 160w 16,000k. So far, so good, this light really seems to be a beast for the price point it's at ($489) versus the PAR numbers and color rendition it provides. Combine that some decent onboard control and this light is certainly a winner!

Any plans on doing your own PAR tests?

Yes, I'll hopefully be getting some PAR numbers ran on it that are at the same distance and intensity levels that I tested the Illumina, Radeon, and AI.

How does this unit compare with the Maxspect Mazarras?

I'll do a comparison with the Mazarras on this unit as well.

I'm really curious to see how this unit does. I think 2 of the 20" one would be great on a 48" 75G

Any pics above a tank? Why don't you stick this thread in lighting and equipmment to get more response?
