Added sand & water is still very cloudy

I rinsed the sand & added it, but man - the water is cloudy - I used a fine grain so I know that's partly the reason but shouldn't it have settled a little more or do you think I didn't rinse it well enough.

Is there anything else to do or just wait it out?

How long ago did you add it? My 55 took 2 or 3 days to settle.

Filter sock... That will fix your issue in a couple of hours (definately less than a day).

Thanks guys - I'll try the filter sock idea -in my other tanks I don't remember the cloudiness being an issue for this long.

Are your pumps pushing the sand around? That might be adding to it, but once it settles the cloudiness should go away with a filter sock.
