Picked up a couple mp-40s and I'm not sure what percent of power I should run them at - I hope you guys can help. I'll be running them in reef crest mode during the day and dialing the flow back during night mode.
I have a 120g tall and a 40g breeder as a sump. My return pump is a mag 9.5 that is coming through a dual return on the main tank.
Any thoughts/advice would be great. Thanks guys!

Depends on type of corals you have and also the way that the rock placed!

Do you have a sand bed? If so, crank the vortechs all the way to 100%. If the sand moves all around in the tank, turn them down slowly until the sand doesn't move anymore. That's what I did. I'd say mine are running at about 75% or so. If you can run them at 100% w/o sand movement, or if you have a BB, then 100% is the way to go. More flow the better imo.

I'd say 60 to 70%
I run mine at 55 or so on my 75 and it reaches about 2/3rds the way across the tank.
