Bio pellets not tumbling...

I am using a next reef smr1 solid media reactor with a pondmaster mag drive 5 pump ( 500 gph ).


I have 100ml of vertex bio pellets in the reactor and they are not tumbling.

I just set the reactor up yesterday, so does it take time for the pellets to start tumbling?

oops the pump is a mag drive 7.

Post a picture of the way you have it set up. It should tumble right away.

they should tumble from get go...
mag 5? ... sounds strong enough (I'm using a MJ1200!!!)
....my guess is somethings clogged or the bacteria has the pellets sticking
...shake that bad boy, and keep shaking it until they tumble....
