Vortech wet side ate itself!

I cleaned my mp40es wet side for the first time and after reassembling it it would kick itself off the aquarium when I would start the motor.

I disassembled it and the thin plastic washer between the casing and the magnet shredded them both and now it's all rough and doesnt run right.

Does Ecotech or a 3rd party provide parts to rebuild the wet side? I really do not want to have to spend $100 on a whole assembly considering I have had it less than a year

I already tried Ecotech in the vendor section and got no response as to what repair options I have.

Ecotech website has repair parts under the parts section. But being less then a year old, it should still be under warranty.
