Added CUC,now white spots on glass??

I added a clean up crew to my tank yesterday; a dozen snails and six hermit crabs. This morning I noticed several white spots on the glass. They are about the size of a small freckle and don't appear to be very thick. Are they snail poop or perhaps eggs?

What kind of snails did you get? My first guess would be nerite snail eggs. These look kind of like sesame seeds on the glass.

Yes, got nerite,cerith, and a couple turbos. Sesame seed is a pretty good description. Will they actually hatch out? The glass surface has been swarming with copepods (I assume); will the copepods eat up the eggs?

Yeah, they'll most likely just end up being eaten by something else, which is a good thing. Check this out.
