So ive been looking for a reasonable priced salt mix just finishing my cycle, and looking to start adding a quality salt with the elements that I need for a stable reef tank.

Instant ocean reef crystals is a affordable good mix. Or just the plain instant ocean also. I've used reef crystals for years with no regrets. Just recently switched to aquavitro salinity by recommendation of a LFS that knows his stuff and gives me a great deal on it. It is one of the higher priced salts though. You can't go wrong with instant ocean in my opinion.

I also use aquavitro salinity and love it but reef crystals is inexpensive and is a good salt too.

Instant Ocean is fine. A lot of very nice tanks, including some Tanks of the Month, are run on it. The new formulation is fine as is, without supplements. It doesn't have any vitamins or other organics added, which some view as a plus.

Go to www.petsolutions.com and you can buy SeaChem Reef Salt for $42.99. Shipping is free is you place an order on dry goods over $49.00, so buy some food or something for aquarium maintenance. IMO, SeaChem makes the best salt. Instant Ocean is also a nice quality salt but it is a little more expensive.

That's not a bad price for instant ocean. Petsolutions has the 200 gallon box for $53.99 and free shipping.
