Hi,
I'm very new

I have been cycling for 4 weeks, they tested it for me at fish store and we have 2 clownfish who are doing well for a week now. For now I'm just learning about the water and a few fish. Someday I may be interested in coral but not for a while.

I have the Biocube 29 lighting that came already installed. A white daylight and 2 blueish lights.

A few basic questions:

Question 1: What function do the 2 different "bluer" lights serve?

Question 2: I just bought the Coralife Power Center. What is a recommended light schedule.

Thank you!

has the tank completely cycled before adding the fish?
fish dont really care for lights so any 6-8 hrs u like u can have the lights on.
most likely white lights are ur main lights and blue are moonlights.

well, it depends, sometimes they put a blue light in there to work together with the white light, this way the kelvin count goes up, thus getting more to the blue spectrum

It also helps with making the colours of corals "pop" more (or so I'm told)

But they could very well be moonlights too, try to look up a manual for your tank, maybe the answer is there.

Oh, and congrats on getting the clowns, they are (still) my favorite fish in my tank

hope this helps
