I am new to the saltwater hobby was a freshwater guy before. I am new to dealing with sumps and dont know a whole lot about them. I guy on craigslist has this for sale:
Had salt water aquarium, sold most, but still have:
Berlin skimmer for $60.00 (bought for $140), I used this skimmer in my sump with a 900gph pump to drive the skimmer.
900gph ZEN pump (submersible or dry)
Plexiglass sump & bio-balls for $15.00 – measures 24”W X 14” D X 11”- 17” H. Water height is 11” max in the sump and back of sump is 17” high. The sump has input and output hose fittings. See attached picture.
2 CPR siphon overflows (1500gph & 600gph) $50 & $35
2 Tap Water Purifiers with new cartridges, hoses - various sizes, charcoal, new & used nets, shells, all of these items I will sell cheap.
My main question is, is this all I need for a sump or would I have to buy extra accessories?
