Hi everyone
My att 2wire went out, ATT changed it today. After I got my apex working I figured I should update it since there is a mac updater now and I was running 4.04 . I downloaded the new firmware, found my apex and clicked update it got to 3% and bam locked up. and I can't get nothing no display can't log on. Failed unlock attempt is the message I get getting.

Help any info?

Is the Apex connected to the router by cable, or is there a wireless adapter in the path?

What is the color of the Apex Status LED? I'm guessing it is lit orange.

Start the updater, wait for it to start attempting to contact the Apex, then depower and repower the Apex. That'll typically correct it.

I clicked, update firmware from the apex flash site then unplugged the power bar due to no display. and no luck

It looks like Apex Flash can't log on to the controller Controller connect failed is the 4th line of the script. The first time I tried updating it asked me for a password maybe I put the wrong one in? It hasn't asked for one since the first attempt

It'll remember the password, so that's probably not a concern. The Mac updater is in my limited experience pretty good about being able to recover from unexpected issues (well, or expected ones....don't try to update over wireless, my friends...) via the "repower the Apex while the updater is trying to contact it" deal. If after a few attempts at that there's no recovery, then you should definitely drop a note to [email protected]
