For the last year I have had these semi circle/circle dark red stuff growing on the overflow box and the PVC pipe in my tank. I used to just scrub it off with a tooth brush, but it just returns in the same spot. So I let it grow bigger and now when I try to brush it off I have to use my force then normal and I am unable to get it all off. It has a slippery feel to it when I touch it. I thought it was cyno and used red slime remover and it didnt even phase it. In the picture it is the dark red circles present. It grows over the past caroline algea and plastic.
