Ok, well after being out of the SW scene for about 6 years...(we) my wife and I have decided to get back into it but, only smaller. My previous tank was a FOWLR 75g flat back hex.
I traded that set up for a BioCube and started to work on getting it set up.
First order of business was to clean the tank.

It had snails and some other stuff in it and man it kinda stunk.
So, I used some vinager and some good ol' eblow grease and cleaned it out.
The previous owner had installed the spray bar and it came with 2 Rio 6 hf pumps and a CPR SR3 skimmer. So, I will be using one of the Rio's in my sump and one in the back of the tank....and I am also thinking about getting the JBJ Oceanstream power head setup....thoughts??
I also made a stand. I will post pics of the stand and the sump later.

Here are some of my DIY sump. Went to petco and picked up a 10g and used 8"x10" sheets of glass from homedepot. Some were a tight fit and I had to sand them down a little to make them fit. Sealed it up with some DAP silicone also at HD.

I also made an overflow from 1" PVC and painted it black so you could not see it as much from the side.

I have made some of my own rock and will be putting it in soon...just waiting on it to finish curing.
Also, not sure about keeping the spray bar will see how it goes when everything is set up.
Comments are welcome.
Thanks for looking.

Ok, I know it has been a while, but here is a small update.
Ordered 30lbs of base rock for reef cleaners and 25lbs of CaribSea Reef special sand...in the tank and about 5lbs in the fuge.

I have 2 snails cant remember the names but one reminds me of a zombie when I feed them and the other looks like a throwing star...LOL
As for the clowns they are supposed to be True Perculas, but I am not convinced that they are..so, I am going to talk with the LFS today and see what they say.
I had a false clown in there and it lasted a week and had a full spectrum test performed on my water and everything was perfect. So, it could have been sick with out me knowing...I purchased it for Petco...so...not really sure of the source.
Hopefully the pair will do better.
