Aquatic life skimmer

Has anybody put the aquatic life mini 115 in the first chamber of their biocube hqi? I've read of people using them in their second chamber but don't want to lose the fuge. Any ideas?

One of my customers said it wouldn't fit in the first chamber of his regular 29 biocube. Don't know if that helps any.

I have one in the first chamber of mine (not HQI). It fits fine it just takes a little work to get it in the first time (no mods needed). Just watch a video. There are plenty available.

I am pretty sure I have seen a video or two of the mini skimmer in the HQI tank. I use the sera mini skimmer which I believe is very similar or the same as the aqua euro mini skimmer. I am not blown away by its performance but it does regularly pull out a lite tea colored skimmate. I have only used the biocube skimmer beside the sera and but would still recommend the sera/aquaeuro for the price.
