I have seen many documents/comments on how many fish we can keep in a particular size of a tank or the minimum tank size for a particular fish.

Are there any such limits for corals? Do they add to the bio load in such a way that we can keep only a certain number of corals in a tank?

I know there are space/light limitations. But in terms of what they add to the water, is there a limitation?

They don't add to the bio-load unless you feed more as a result of having more corals. You should be more concenred about what they're taking out rather than putting in.

corals can slime and produce a little waste. but not like feeding fish.
