Hi All,
I have a 90 gallon DT and a 30 gallon sump with a 10 gallon refugium that has been up now for about 7 months. The refugium has a 6" sand bed with another 2" of rock rubble. I started with a ball of chaeto, and it has never really done much, but is still alive. I also have a couple of mangroves and a lot of grape caulerpa (probably came in with the chaeto). Anyway, the caulerpa has over run the refugium, and I started reading about the plant going sexual. Anyway, this has not happened yet, but want to get rid of it before it does. Can I just trim it back, could I remove it all at once? Do I risk any problems from the removal? I have another ball of chaeto on order as well as 5 more mangroves. What about my pods? Is there a way to remove it without removing all the pods?

Thanks,
Ryan

clip it and just shake as many pods off before removing.....
