Hey, just got a beautiful new anemone. It's decided to put itself into a rock where I can't see it and will have trouble feeding it. What to do?

Just leave it for now. It's just ****ed. It might very well stay there for a couple of weeks then walk right out or it could be splitting from the stress, assuming its a bubble tip.

Mine are planted at the back of the tank so feeding is an issue with me also. I thaw mysis out in tank water and use a lift tube just over the anemones. I then pour more water in the tube pushing the food down. They're too far away for a turkey baster which also works.

My rbta hid for 4-5 weeks before finally coming out. It was fine and now looks great.

Update:

He's finally moved into a place where I can feed him and where I can see him, so that's the good news. Bad news is that he isn't looking in the greatest of shape. Don't know what to do.

What settings was it when you purchased it? (lighting)
Has it eaten?
What are the other tank occupants?
Have there been any earthquakes lately?

Sorry for the late update. Anemone is looking REALLY good. Opens up big and fat, good coloration and stays in one spot thankfully. Hopefully my anemone will host the clowns (or is it the other way around?).
