What is this???

A member of my local club has these popping up randomly in his tank. Trying to figure out what they are. It doesn't seem to have a skeleton.

They kind of look like Blastomussas to me. Is the dead skeleton to the left part of the colony?

I also think they're blastos. How big are they?

They're an inch or so. These popped up from nowhere. And they have no skeleton so they're not blastos.

Not really sure what they are, but in my experience if *anything* is popping up randomly in tanks in any number, it's usually not a good thing!
