how is everyone keeping their sand from blowing all over the place? I have a biocube 29 with an MP10 and at 50% or 60% the sand on the other side of the tank starts to erode away and leave bare spots.
I was thinking of adding a small rock there but wanted to get some opinions before I do that. it might look weird there.

I know that a lot of people put MP10 in their Nano Cube...to avoid sand blowing around they normally have it high towards the surface pointing at the opposite side of the tank. A lot has to do with the amount of rock you have, and the placement of it. Can you post a full tank shot so we can get an idea of what you are working with?
Is yours on constant or one of the pulse modes?

I'm going MP40 on a 29g, I created a rock structure that is completely open in the back, foamed the bottom, sand up front. It's all speculation though until I add water.
Since you cannot direct the vortech's flow you can try and manipulate the direction of the flow with your rock placement. You would want to use rocks that would be slanted and direct the flow upwards...similar to a ramp.

Tank shot. I have the powerhead high up top. Maybe if I move it down and to the back it will work better?
