I was going to get Ammo Lock but ran out of time so would a drop of prime in the bag with the fish be ok to keep ammonia from building up? The fish will be bagged for probably a max of 6 hours, haven't been fed for close to 2 days and will be in a small amount of water relative to the amount of air in the bag. I have a heat pack if needed for temperature.

One thing that definitely helps is not feeding the fish for 24-48 hours before transporting them. I have also seen a lot of fish in a small dose of Malachite Green (I believe that's what it is). The water becomes blue when it is added and it keeps the fish relaxed.

Yeah Definitely Prime, Oxygen Not Feeding You Should Be Fine.

Just be careful. To much prime can deplete oxygen level in the water per SeaChem
