Im looking ar upgrading from a 55 to 170 gallon tank. so im looking at lighting options. i plan on having a reef tank. which one would be better?

Metal halide and t5s. IMO

But If I must chose one iv your options i would go with led.

I agree with this.

Some people are switching back from LED to halide, and some people swear by it. Its personal preference and what works best with your system. I love halides and won't ever get rid of them.
