razor blade cleaning with an established tank?

Can i use the metal razor blades to clean inside an established tank? I am concern that the metal might leach something that may harm my fishes or corals.

Many scraper you can buy have metal blades in them, just rinse with tap water and dry when finished.
I'm sure you know this, but never use metal blades on acrylic tanks. :)

yes its a common practice.

Make sure to always use a new blade each time. Once you use the blade it will start to rust. If you use a rusty blade it will scratch your tank.
