carbon sitting for a few days

Hola!! I have had carbon sitting in its reactor with water in it for about 5 days. The pump has been off so there has been on circulation...can i just turn the reactor back on or change the carbon??

i would rinse it out and then use it again. how old is the carbon anyways?

If it smells like rotten eggs(hydrogen sulfide), I'd just replace it. If not just run the output into a bucket for a few minutes and then back in the tank.

If it smells off, I'd ditch it.

It didn't smell bad at all but I got overally nervous and decided to ditch it...I mean it's only like $3 worth of carbon hahah

not a bad choice especially when it dont cost much.
