Okay I have been dosing vodka for just over a week now and have seen a significant improvement in my tank. All of the corals are extending more and seem to be getting more vibrant colors. Unfortunately I also removed my sulfur denitrafier and started using rox-8 carbon at the same time. My denitrafier had been in use for 2yr's. So far since shutting it down I have not seen an increase in nitrates yet so that is a good thing and my Phos is holding at .04 so if it does not go up I will not use gfo till it hits about .08. I do not know how much of the change is directly due to the vodka but at least I made a positive change and went forward instead of backwards as happens so many times when trying something new. My tank is made of of SPS, LPS and softies so far everything looks happy:dance:
