Just wanted to tell everyone what I did to upgrade my tank to LED's. I Bought two Lights on a budget . 300 gallon double bow.

1, Ebay# $105.00 290762641976 IRIS LED Aquarium Light Fixture Moonlight 48" 55 120 Gal W Color Changing Remote.

2, Ebay# $240.00 290773055664 48" EVO Quad LED Light System by Green Element

the 48 EVO are Very impressive and Super bright 3watt led's not sure if it will grow Stony Corals or not, maybe someone has tried it. what I found is best used as a daylight LED, the place told me there were two different plugs however the lights are divided between the two plugs and to switch to only Night light blue need to flip two toggles. And the Blue was to florescent looking. So I found this other color led with programmable remote, this guy makes them 1 watt LED's, glues two strip led tape's to an aluminum strap 2.5" x 3/16th x 48" I screwed the strap to the front of the EVO and angled it back just a little to light the entire tank as you could not center it with the main light. Plugged into my Aqua Controller III and I have daylight and night light automatic for about $350.00 total.

At night you can put it on auto slow fade between 3 or 7 color changes, I put on 7 super slow through the Colors and is just incredible look. It has a strobe setting looks like Lightning and it keeps the setting so on a timer comes on the same way every time. My tank is deep almost 3 foot and both Light the entire tank. see pictures. and the remote one has a youtube vid on the ebay site.
