I have a 36 gallon corner tank that's been running for about 18 yrs. with fish only (my clown that I added after I first cycled the tank just died). I added about 45 lbs. of live rock 3months ago and just added some xenia, zoanthids and a hammer coral about a week ago. I am currently using a Current Nova Extreme 24" 2 bulb 24 watt T5HO with a 12,000k and a 460nm actinic.

I'm looking for opinions on what to do as far as lighting goes. My concern is the amount of space available on the hood for lighting. My fixture measures 23.5" x 5.5". I only have about an addition 2" in width to play with (a total of lets say 24" X 7.5"). Can I make some additions to my existing setup? Would like some lunar led's or something for night viewing. Or do I trash my existing setup completely?

I put a MH pendant on my corner tank back in the day. Bought a PFO moonlight which was designed to connect to pendant perfectly. It was a real nice clean look.

Let me add.... Think it was Lumen Max 2 that I hung. Look for PFO moonlight, too. Nice clean look. Put a Radium in it. Nice look.

Yeah, 250 luminmax or luminbright with a radium would be real nice.

Do you think my current lighting is insufficiant? I know it's not the best. But will it do?

Don't particularly care for Current USA lighting. Could do an ATI T5...
