I wanted to see if my Clown Trigger would eat a small piece of Banana, and she gobbled it up quick. I was curious to see if she would, considering most of her diet is white fleshy meat like raw frozen crab straight from local asian market, raw frozen scallops and prawn as well. Since banana looks similar, I thought I'd give it a shot. I've heard other people feeding their fish banana as well. I'm wondering if it couldn't hurt the fish if fed as an extra small side dish/serving, desert so to speak once a day. Some believe it can help the fish's immune system that can help prevent certain diseases like HLLE. Has anyone else tried this, or add a little of it into their diet each day?
