I have 40 gallon long that im making a sump for my 125 that im about to finally set up (waiting for a few more things to get delivered). My first section for just the filter sock then spills to the skimmer.....then refugium....then to the return section. Should I put a bubble trap after the skimmer and before the refugium or just have it go to the refugium and then a bubble trap after the refugium. Thanks guys

I'd like to make a suggestion based on personal experience building (and then re-building) my own sump. Set it up with the filter sock --> skimmer --> return section --> refugium.
This allows you to "T" your overflow with a much smaller amount to the fuge, with the fuge then spilling slowly back into the return section. Having all of your flow through the fuge is too much for it's purpose usually. This way, you would place your bubble trap between the skimmer and return. The slow flow back from the fuge shouldn't cause much in the way of bubble issues.
