View Full Version : 20 day old system - stops working

Less than 30 days ago I purchase an Apex system and vortech mp40. It was easy to setup, configure and ran like a champ, until today.

Today, for no reason, the controller states the wmx and the pm2 modules are missing even though the status lights are green

So the pump isn't working - I unplug the pump, wait a moment and plug it in and it works for about 30 seconds then powers off. Lovely.

the conduct probe doesn't read anythign because it's "missing"

I call tech support and get referred to here. Is there a super-secret line that I can call and pay for premium support or do I need to google the answer :hmm2:

Any help is appreciated.

If you can communicate with the controller, try to initialize all. Use the misc setup web page. Make sure you have a backup of your program if possible

If you can't communicate then I'd reload the firmware and go from there.

The Crimson Reefer - not to be confused with the Crimson Pirate (i.e. Want2BS8ed), who has a hard time believing Neptune support would refer anyone someplace else... they have ways been good to me!
