Trouble opening AI SOL

I am trying to swap the optics on my AI Sol unit and I can't seem to get it open.

I unscrewed the 4 screws but the data and power caps seem to be stuck on the ends restricting me from opening the unit all the way. Any advice on going about this?

The video's and pictures I've seen make it sound like the 4 screws come off, it opens. This is not the case for me.

Lift the end up without the data ports on it and wriggle the cover towards the ports as it kinda hooks under the ports. The cover should then wriggle free from under the ports and lift off.
