Sorry for crappy quality in last pic, lights are off, and this was taken with the flash on the camera. Any ideas what's going on? Is it OK? Planning on )hopefully) moving it to the hospital tank tomorrow, we just need to buy lights for the tank, otherwise all test results (finally) came up perfect for the hosp tank. OR, would switching tanks on him be too stressful?

I would not move him: would add unnecessary stress. Wait it out.

Thanks Steve, I was thinking the same thing, but was also worried about how bad is it... if it dies in the DT, we can't afford another crash. How can you tell if it's a goner? How long should we wait it out? Anything we can do (besides wait) to try to help revive it? Thanks again...

Heres a pic from this morning:

its not flat at all anymore, almost bloated (? for lack of a better term!) I'm so confused! LOL This is our 3rd BTA and have never seen this happen before!

and it's not as pale in real life as it in the pic... i think thats from my flash on the camera. I don't think its quite as green as it should be, but its not terribly awful

Agree with Steve. Leave it alone. If it is a new addition, it is acclimating to the tank. If not, nems go through periods of expansion and contraction. This is how they expell waste, and water.

awesome, thank you! its only been in the tank for about 48 hours; we were at TFP thursday when they got the nems in, it was still bagged then since they just got their shipment in, I should have told them to keep it bagged and wed get it friday (when their inventory and pricing was done) to minimize stress... it was added to their tank thurs night, then bagged and brought home then added to our tank fri, so I'm assuming this was more stress than normal. Does it look healthy though or should we keep an extra close eye and what signs should we watch for if it's dying?
