I have what i believe to be a White Ruffled Nudibranch. i have added some photos 2 questions.

is this type of Nudibranch ok for coral? pet store guy said its ok and its one that eats only algae he thinks the brown kind but this was a new one and he was not positive.

also in the photo with the red box? i don't think they shed lol but i have looked online for photos of egg ribbons and they don't match what it left? are those eggs? its funny i just bought her last night.

i have mostly plats, frogspawns, hammerhead, anemones, Goniopora, mushroom, and duncan and some reef safe fish

Most nudibranchs hitch hike in on what they eat. They usually look like their food, which makes sense if you're trying to blend in and not get eaten yourself.

However, since you bought this one and added it to your tank, it'll be harder to say what it eats. The problem with nudibranchs is that no one really knows what most of them eat. As a result, they usually starve in aquariums. I doubt very much your local fish store has any idea about what type this is and what it eats.

The only thing I can tell you with any certainty is that your third picture definitely shows nudibranch eggs.

There are websites for identifying slugs, but I don't have any links handy. Google "sea slug identification" and maybe you can find yours.

thanks rssjsb i found its a Glossodoris atromarginata and eats sponges but i have looked and could not find out what kind of sponge. so not i have to look around at pet stores to find sponges now lol.... thank for your help

kinda stoked that she layed eggs with in 12 hours of buying her... i look forward to trying to raise them/ sell them.
