I am wanting suggestions/opinions on what skimmer would be best for me to get. I currently have a coralife 125 skimmer, not great and very touchy I know but when it is working consistently it really pulls skimmate. I am leaning toward a super reef octopus but not sure of which model because my sump space is very limited. I have a low to medium bio load at the moment, but want to buy once and be done with it

when I get my next skimmer it will be the only one I ever buy again: Euro Reef
I have one on my 220 gallon, housing a Maldive sand shark, Fox face, 6-line grouper, Lion fish. All produce a ton of waste and the tank is kept pretty happy. Does not have a large foot print and once set you really never need to touch it again.
Just my opinion.

I have a SRO 3000-INT on my 125 mixed. About 8-10 fish, lots of LPS, softies, and about 6 SPS pieces that have been very happy.
Here is an old pic where you can see most of the SPS on the right side:

Here is a pic of a monti (green with purple rim) that has grown exponentially over the last six months.

Skimmer does a great job and I just added bio pellets and it is skimming even more now.
