Best way to clean the Radion

Looking at the best way to clean the radion, more specifically the fan guard. I dont want to just wipe it when the fixture is on because it will suck up the dust that has collected. Ive never shut off my radion, but if I shut it off will it keep my schedule?

The best way to clean dust/debris from the Radion is simply to used compressed air, blowing into the fan and the sides of the fixture (heatsink). If powered down for less than 24 hours, the schedule programmed will remain.
