Should I attach this coral to a rock? It's just perched there. I've had it about 6 weeks and it's showing noticeable growth. Since it seems to be thriving I want to be sure I know what to do with it.

It's at least 5 inches across, maybe 6.

Thanks!

I would. If it falls, if could break or land on something that could kill it

I would see if it has incrusted first. If its growing out it may have also incrusted. If so just leave it be. If you decide you like it in that spot and it is still loose just take it out and put some superglue Gel at the spots it is touching the rocks.

I would and here is why- I had a horn coral (hgdrophona) and it took a dive of a top rock and fell into a scoly / scoly nuked it - glue everything once u know it's happy -

Cool thanks. Does incrusting mean it has attached on it's own? It hasn't. Would superglue be better than reef epoxy?

Preference. They are the same chemical, only difference is consistency.

let nature take its course... once it is settles, it will definitely encrust...
