Hey all,

Yesterday I bought some green Palythoas, or Protopalythoas, not sure which. When I looked at them this morning they started to turn a little brown, losing their dark green color. I know they like medium lighting, but my tank is rather small and the light covers pretty much everything. I have a 14K 9W LED strip light on a 5.5gal tank.

Here's yesterday:

Any thoughts?

i have a feeling its not light acclimated properly. so u know what lighting it came out of? i am leaning towards in ur tank not enough light but dont do anything yet. leave it let it adjust to ur lights for few days to maybe weeks then we might be a bit more sure.

They came from a little better lighting since it was from the store, but were lower from the light in relation to what I have. Thanks for the input, a waiting game it is!

I seem to have the same problem with my corals under my LEDs. I would leave them at the bottom for a week or so. Then move them to where you want them.
