What's the best removal practice? Looking to get help with a major outbreak.. It's everywhere

The best way to get rid of it is to starve it, IMO. Is this a brand new tank? Have you changed/added anything? What are you using for top off water?

+1 for more info. What are your parameters at? Diatoms usually disappear with some patience if you are able to get your nutrients under control.

Do you think purple up will increase diatoms? I also see diatomrs on my lr so thinking about increasing the flow in that area
