We have a 270G mixed reef with a total volume of 400G. We are constantly looking for new and exciting specimens. This includes inverts, fish, coral and the like. Live Aquaria is offering a (reef safe) Red Hawaiian Reef Lobster. Does anyone have any experience with these guys? They look awesome. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
-Thank you.

I had a reef lobster and while it was sold to me as reef safe it eventually decided to rip off one my clarkii clownfish's tails. I had to get rid of it. It was very aggressive. I'd just be careful if you end up with it

I'm not sure if i have that exact kind but unless you have no rock, you will never ever see it. They seem to love total darkness.

I've done a fair amount of research and numerous sites list it as being reef safe but there are a number or reports of problems. I am curious how many have had success.
We are okay with the random sighting. That's what makes this so fun. However, I don't want to wake up to find one of my prized fish have become his latest high end meal!
