I have a 90 gallon tank with some soft corals and 3 reef safe marine fish. I am having trouble keeping and growing corals. I have checked the water and numerous other things and have been told that I need to get lighting conducive to growing corals. I have been looking at high output lighting mounted on the aquarium top with 4 legs. I need assistance understanding what would be the best option for me, (HO, VHO, LED). Someone indicated that LED lighting for reefs regardless of the wattage would work well as opposed to T5 HO lighting. Pkease let me know what you think!

Really depends on what you intend to keep zoas, softies, Lps or sps. Sps are the most light demanding and lessens down the list so first we need to know what you want to keep

It also depends on the height of your tank. What are your tank dimensions?
