I am switching out my 75 gal sump for a 40 breeder because the 75 is too big for me to do anything under my tank. I got the 40 gallon Top Fin at Petsmart and there are a lot of bubbles in the silicone. This is the second tank I got from them, I had to return the first one because I noticed a huge chip when I got it home. Should i return this tank for a 3rd tank? I have extra silicone, should I add another layer on it? It is a sump so I dont care what it looks like.
This is redicilous.

If they are tiny bubbles I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it looks like large areas where the two panes are not bonded I would think twice. Pics would be very helpful.

I ended up returning it.
