I'm thinking on getting the tricolor par38 LED bulb and want to cover up one of the two red lights (maybe both depending on what it looks like).
I was thinking on cutting out a thin piece of metal and placing it over the two of the LEDs. Will this work fine?

Anyone think that will be good?

just use some electrical tape to cover the LEDs you don't want to use.

Why get the tri color and then cover up all the red? Just get the regular par38 bulb if that is the case.

^ +1 Just get the regular bulb without the reds. Or I guess a small piece electrical tape would work.
