I bought a Current USA pc/mh combo fixture off craigslist a while back for my 20 long. It has one 70 watt 20,000k ushio bulb, and one 65 watt 10k pc. (the ballast for the other pc bulb doesn't work)

Do you think this lighting is enough to keep frogspawn, hammer, duncans, etc?

I've looked into upgrading to t-5 lighting, but I don't know if it would be worth it because I can't really afford a nice tek fixture. I would need to either go with an odyssea 4-bulb t5 or maybe a fishneedit fixture.

Would something like this be worth the upgrade if I replaced the stock bulbs with ATI bulbs?

Yea, youre lookin at 7w/gal If you want t5 look into the solarmax fixtures from deep blue, I recently purchased one and am very happy with it. I got it used, 4x54w with fresh bulbs for a really good price. Has built in programmable timer, moonlight LEDs that actually add enough shimmer at night to make them worth it. This is on my 75 and so far everything loves it! Hope this helps you out
