My spider sponge is dying....I think....kind of falling apart and Browning out; however the trunk is still nice and orange and the white "icing" LFS called it hydrophyllia is still alive even where the disintegration is occurring. Is their anything I can do or did Boba Fett succeed?

These are very susceptible to higher nitrates and phosphates from my experience. While I've found many other NPS forgiving of higher readings these I have not, and they degenerate rapidly.

Nitrates show as 0 to 2 ppm.

Could it be that I had it Mid Tank a out 12" from the top with a 700w light...I then moved it down. Will hydrophyllia stay alive
