Anyone have the experience of juvenile Queen? how fast and how big can they grow in our aquarium?

Is it a bad idea to keep one in 6' 200g?

I think you can get by with a 6' tank. They don't grow as big or as fast as say a French Angel.

Queen Elizabeth 5'4"...

Maybe 5'10"; depending on the day's choice of frumpy hats.

I'm guessing that the 'juvi' refers to a Q. Angel. I had a Queen Angel for about 7-8 years. ( Lost my notes in Katrina, so this is best guess). Got him (is a male Queen a ''him'') as a Juvi and he was about 14" when he was freed by the wind. I had him in a 240 and think that tank was too small, by quite a bit.

Kekekeke :D @ Rapide :) Moro moro! Mitä kuuluu? Yes, most all queens (as Mr. Rapide has pointed out) tend to be larger fish :)

thanks MrTuskfish, this is the info i am looking for. I didn't realize they can reach close to the full size in our tank as if they were in the wild. so, bye bye Queen angel. :sad1:

I feel your pain. I love queen angels and I'd love to have one. I wish there was a dwarf species that only got to be the size of a cherub angel! But good on you for checking first and making the decision based on the fish's needs instead of what you wanted--that's the mark of a good aquarist.

Yes, I'm sorry but I just had to...
This is the reason why I always use the latin names.
There was this one time, when someone was talking about blue tang. Everyone assumed that it was P. hepatus when it actually was A. coeruleus
