As i make my way toward a 60 gallon cube i will be looking for a skimmer to go with it. I dont know what to do for sump as well.. anyway what are some recomendations for a skimmer? I have used SRO 5000 and xp2000 on larger systems with great results.if i were to do a SRO i would go with the 1000 model but looking to see what other options are out there. thanks

PS if you have any sump ideas for the size tank please chime in, i an at a loss for the sump tank size to fit under this size tank.

I use a eshopps s-200 cone. Nice and powerful with a psk1000 pump and not too big of a neck so it skims great for the smaller water volume. Sump wise I use a 10 gal tank.. depending on stand you can fit a 20 gal tank as well or equivalent sized pre-made sump.

If you wanted another reef octo...I think the diablo 160 is perfect(right between a sro 1000 and 2000 in size) for a 60 gal cube.
You can also go expensive and do a bubble king mini160... or an atb 840.
